- Inner world at the surface -

My work comes from the need to understand the complex inner world. My layered emotions that keep me occupied and difficulties with a sense of reality and time. From a young age I struggled with my mental health. I developed a desperate need to understand it. And so it happend that I wish to dive into my own shifts, fears, shame and desires. This results in work with different forms like costume, performance, textile and painted artwork.

'Even my hair doesn't know who I am. Different curl patterns live simultaniously on my scalp. Showing the differences I experience inside.'

My work mostly consist of materials I hoarded over time. Some feel like they belong to a previous sense of self. Combining them provides me with a new reality.
