I get inspired by our inner world. Especially the parts we tend to hide or shy away from. My creative proces usually starts with an emotion or a mental state. I translate that onto paper by drawing, to translate that into a piece of clothing.

I am always interested in femininity, emotions and our mental health. To explore these subjects I use different artforms, but I fell in love with wearable artpieces the most.

Next to my personal work I create costumes and styling for film, theater, artists and performers.

Currently I am supported by Creative Industries NL to further develop my practice."
